Air travel to be more affordable after new Civil Aviation policy: Ashok Gajapathi

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati has said that air travel is set to become more affordable with the advent of New Civil Aviation Policy. In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, he said that capping the fares at Rs 2500 per hour of flight will enable the Indian middle class to adopt air travel.<br/><br/>Mr. Gajapathi Raju said that a review will be undertaken on the embargo of having a second commercial airport within 150 kilometres of an existing one.<br/><br/>The full text of the interview with the Minister can be heard in our Countrywide programme tonight from 9.30 p.m. on FM Gold channel and additional frequencies.
