Prasar Bharati Chief Executive Officer Gaurav Dwivedi has said that AIR will soon start broadcasting news in local dialect in the tribal- Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.<br />'' <br />'' During his visit to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, Prasar Bharati CEO said that the union government has provided about 2,500 crore rupees for the expansion of All India Radio and Doordarshan.<br />''  <br />'' He said that Prasar Bharati is trying its best to reach out to maximum number of people through its news and entertainment programmes through Doordarshan and All India Radio.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Dwivedi on Saturday chaired a meeting of senior officials of Doordarshan and All India Radio at Doordarshan Kendra, Raipur. He also inspected various sections and studios of Raipur Doordarshan Kendra and reviewed the facilities available there.
