In Pakistan, seven militants were killed when jet fighters struck at militant hideouts in South Waziristan tribal region today. The private TV ARY News said the jet fighters pounded at Nawazkot, Brond and Makeen areas of South Waziristan area, along Pakistan's border with Afghanistan.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, security forces continued search and clearance operations in Swat and Malakand areas of North West Frontier Province. In a statement, the army said, 10 militants were arrested and nine others surrendered before security forces, including a local militant commander Alias Gorkai.<br/>
