In Afghanistan, at least 20 Taliban militants have been killed in air strike against the militants' hideout in the eastern Paktika province. A spokesman of local administration today said warplanes of international troops targeted suspected hideout of the militants in Urgon district last evening, killing over 20 rebels at the spot. He said, in a separate incident, seven armed militants were arrested as security forces launched an operation against militants in the same district. Taliban militants have yet to make comments.
