Commercial air services to Haiti have resumed after remaining suspended since the last month's earthquake. An American Airlines flight from Miami touched down in Port-au-Prince to a warm Caribbean welcome.The devastating quake on the 12th of last month had damaged many of the country's buildings, including the International Airport in the Haitian capital. The country's largest commercial airport had resembled a military base, with over a hundred armed forces and UN flights passing through each day since the earthquake.
