Air pollution kills seven million people every year, as global air quality declines, according to reports released on Tuesday at the second United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi. <br/><br/>Global urban air pollution levels increased by 8 per cent between 2008 and 2013. More than 80 per cent of people living in urban areas are exposed to air quality levels that exceed WHO limits, threatening lives, productivity and economies, the report says. <br/><br/>United Nations Environment Programme Executive Director, Achim Steiner said, more and more people around the world are affected by air pollution and suffering adverse health effects as a consequence.
