In Rajasthan, the FM transmitter of All India Radio Jaipur's Primary Channel will be commissioned today. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyawardhan Rathore will inaugurate the transmitter this evening. Director General of AIR F. Shahryar and other senior officers will be present on the occasion. <br/><br/>The capacity of this transmitter is 10 Kilowatt and it can be heard on 101.2 Megahertz. With the commissioning of this transmitter the programmes and news bulletins broadcast by Amer Channel of AIR Jaipur will be available in a radius of 50 kms. The audio quality of the programmes will also be much better. This transmitter will be in addition to the two Medium Wave Transmitters which are already carrying the programmes of AIR Jaipur's Amer channel.
