The Executive Pilots of the Air India called off their strike today and have expressed confidence that the normal international and national flights would be on schedule by tomorrow. Air India spokesman J Bhargava told reporters in Mumbai today that the Air India management had agreed to constitute a committee to look into the issue. The PLI for pilots had been put on hold by Air India which as part of its turnaround policy proposed a 25 to 50 per cent cut in PLI for pilots which led to the protest. He also said that Air India Chairman and Managing Director Arvind Jadhav would hold talks with various other staff Associations of Air India today on the issue. He asserted that if other staff had any issues linked to PLI, the management was willing to listen to them.<br/>
