Air India today formally joined global airline group Star Alliance. The public carrier is now the only Indian airline which is now member the 27 airlines club operating over 18,500 flights a day in 192 countries. Now the passengers will further benefit from a wider choice on routes connecting North America, Europe, Asia and Australia via the Indian Subcontinent. To mark the occasion CMD of Air India Rohit Nandan and CEO, Star Alliance Mark Schwab jointly inducted a A320 airbus livery which was unveiled at the terminal 3 of the IGI international airport in New Delhi.
