Air India flight operations have resumed partially following executive pilots’ calling off their strike yesterday. Spokesperson of the national carrier, Mr. Jitendra Bhargava told All India Radio that the airline is fully geared up to resume its full operations in domestic and international sectors from today. He said, all the bookings are open and overall functioning is normal.<br/><br/>The pilots association announced its decision after Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel intervened to resolve the crisis and assured that their financial perks will not be affected. The Minister said that a joint committee is being set up to look into the grievances .<br/><br/>Over 150 pilots belonging to the carrier went on sudden sick leave last Saturday , as a sign of protest after the carrier’s management decided to clip their performance ‘ linked incentives by over 50 per cent as a cost-cutting step . Over 200 international and domestic flights were forced to be suspended due to strike.. AIR correspondent reports , even as the stalemate ended, Air India had to cancel 34 flights, including four international yesterday .
