Minister of State for Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha today said, the CBI is investigating matters related to Air India on which decisions were taken during the UPA regime. He said, his ministry is ready to fully cooperate with the probe agency. <br/>'<br/>Talking about the merger of Air India-Indian Airlines to media persons in New Delhi, Mr Sinha said, these are matters that pertain to the UPA government and right now investigations are underway to look into the financial aspects of the merger.<br/>'<br/>The CBI has decided to probe the controversial merger as well as alleged irregularities in purchase and lease of aircraft by Air India and Indian Airlines under the UPA government. The investigating agency has registered three FIRs including one on surrender of profitable routes to favour private airlines.
