AIR Exclusive: Interview with Ms. Suruchi Bhadwal, Director Earth Science and Climate Change at TERI

<span style="color: #222222;">The 6th Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC was released in August and it cautioned that unless there are immediate, rapid and large-scale reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, limiting warming to close to 1.5°C will be beyond reach. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The report said that the snow cover in the Hindu Kush Himalayan region, has reduced since the early 21st century, and glaciers have retreated and lost mass since the 1970s and will further decline.
