<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Director General of All India Radio, Dr. Vasudha Gupta on Friday reviewed the functioning of the Akashvani and Doordarshan offices in Chennai. Speaking to AIR officials she said that radio is a medium which touches the lives of people living in the farthest corners of the Country. She said there should be a synergy between the programme and the news units of AIR and DD so that they can benefit from each other.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Gupta encouraged the officers to incorporate updated technologies, which in turn could be used for innovative programmes. She further said that special programmes produced in one station could be used for broadcast in other parts of the Country.</span></p>
