<br/>A new airfield with modern infrastructure will be inaugurated by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Martial P.V. Naik at Phalodi in Rajasthan today. The airbase located between Jaisalmer and Jodhpur will bridge the gap in air defence in western sector. <br/><br/>An official release said that the base is ready to undertake all types of operation of the IAF.
