Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, who is on four-day visit to Sri Lanka, called on the Sri Lankan Commander of the Air Force Kapila Jayampathy today at Air Force Headquarters in Colombo. <br/><br/>The Air chief, accompanied by a delegation of senior officials deliberated on matters of mutual interest and issues related to regional security. <br/><br/>The visiting Air Chief also participated in a briefing on the operational aspects of the Sri Lankan Air Force and interacted with Air Force Board of Management. <br/><br/>Later in the day, the Air chief paid a floral tribute at the memorial of the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) in Colombo. During his visit, the Air chief marshal is scheduled to review the commissioning and passing out parade of the Sri Lankan Air Force, which is scheduled for Thursday. <br/><br/>He will also call on Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe during the visit.
