All India Radio dominated the 11th International Radio Festival of Iran organised by Islamic Republic of Iran broadcasting in Zebakenar, Iran from 26th to 28th May, 2010 by winning seven prizes.<br/><br/>'Good Morning Punjab' of AIR Jalandhar bagged the 1st prize in the category of 'Morning Programme'. <br/><br/>The programme also won best anchors award for Mr. Birinder Singh and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur besides being adjudged as best entry for research and production. Main focus on the programme was on creating awareness against female foeticide, girl education, saying no to drugs, saving tiger, environment protection, positive attitude towards life and therapeutic effects of music.<br/><br/>'Farming in the warming World', a Radio feature produced by AIR Bangalore was adjudged the best programme in the 'Environment Category'. It also fetched 2nd best prize in scripting for Dr. K. N. Ganeshaiah and another 2nd best prize in presentation for Ms. Rashmi Shetty. <br/><br/>The programme highlights global warning and climate change affecting food production and security and need to take effective steps to save the earth by adopting environment friendly technology.
