<span style="color: #222222;">All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) today demanded the Centre to go for a caste-based census in the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Party President and Hyderabad Lok Sabha Member, Asaduddin Owaisi said the caste-based census will prove beneficial for the people, especially those belonging to the backward castes.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said, there is a need for the sub-categorisation of the castes, including the Other Backward Classes (OBC).</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asked the central government to bring in Laws for the same and favoured total reservations beyond 50 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On Afghanistan, Mr Owaisi demanded the government to make it clear its stand on Afghanistan.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also asked the government to invite the AIMIM for the all party meeting to brief over the latest developments in Afghanistan.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
