The condition of Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra,Mr.Vilas Rao Deshmukh is stated to be serious.He is suffering from a liver failure and is in the intensive care unit on ventilator support . He was admitted to Global Hospitals at Chennai last night. The Hospital spokesman said investigations are being carried out.It is learnt that he is on renal dialysis. The ailing Mr.Deshmukh was flown to Chennai in an air ambulance yesterday from Mumbai.
