AIIMS plans to establish a separate facility for out-door patients inside its campus

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences – AIIMS – is planning to establish a separate facility to cater to out-door patients inside its sprawling campus in the national capital. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, AIIMS Director Prof. R.C Deka said that it is still at planning stage and the facility will soon be built within the campus. He said patients from across the country come to AIIMS for treatment and there is a need to expand facilities at the campus to cater to the growing needs of the people. He said that AIIMS has also started work on its campus in Jhajjar at Badsha Village in Haryana and outreach OPD services are being made available for patients.
