<span style="color: #222222;">AIIMS-New Delhi today organised a Webinar on Oxygen therapy without invasive ventilation. Speaking at the session, Director at AIIMS, Dr Randeep Guleria said, using Oxygen like a drug or its extreme high usage can cause Oxygen toxicity. He said, in the current pandemic, proper delivery of Oxygen is more important than ventilator.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">Dr Guleria said, training in Oxygen therapy is very important. He also suggested that oxygen concentrators and cylinders should be used in home settings by the advice of healthcare experts. Oxygen concentrator is a device which produces Oxygen from the air by absorbing Nitrogen. It can be used if the Oxygen saturation falls below 94 per cent in the patient. He said, AIIMS will develop modules on basics of use of Oxygen cylinders at home.</span><br />” &nbsp;<br />
