<br/>Two major aid agencies have launched emergency appeals to support millions of people threatened by famine in the West African state of Niger. The two Organisations – Oxfam and Save The Children say it is not too late to avert repeat of the famine five years ago when three and a half million people were threatened by hunger and malnutrition.<br/>
