In Arunachal Pradesh, a high level AICC team headed by Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde arrived in Itanagar on Sunday and assessed the present political situation in the state. Shinde was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP and former Union Minister B K Handique and Congress Working Committee member and Arunachal in-charge Dhani Ram Shandil. The high level team held a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party at the Itanagar Banquet Hall and also interacted with top party functionaries. After emerging from the crucial meeting, Shinde evaded direct questions from mediapersons but said the meeting was fruitful.
