In Tamilnadu local body elections, AIADMK has won on seven mayor seats and leading on three. Results for mayor seats for Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Thoothukudi, Thirunelveli, Tiruppur and Vellore have been declared till now.Out of the 11,835 seats declared for the various posts in Municipalities and Town panchayats, AIADMK has won in 4854 followed by DMK in 2720 and independents in 2436 seats.
