The AIADMK, which boycotted the August by-elections in Tamil Nadu, today said it would contest next month's bypolls to Tiruchendur and Vandavasi assembly seats in the state. Party General Secretary Jayalalithaa told reporters in Chennai that she had never given the call for permanent boycott of polls and had done so last time only to show their opposition.<br/>The party had boycotted the August 18 polls to five assembly seats allegeing that they would not be free and fair.<br/><br/> <br/>
