Ka Selvam, who has switched over to the BJP and is a member of the extended first family of the DMK will contest in the Thousand lights constituency in Chennai from where he was elected and served as the DMK MLA.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The party hits it out with the DMK in eight constituencies and four places where AIADMK won in the last Assembly elections.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It is also interesting to note that Dr.Anbumani Ramadoss will contest in the same constituency where he lost the Assembly election in 2016.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The party has also been allotted Thiruvallikeni where DMK heavy weight J.Anbalagan held the fort for a long time.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Now that he is nomore, the&nbsp; contest will be strong.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Competition is also expected at Athur from where I. Periyasamy, the DMK heavy weight was elected in 2016.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">PMK will have to encounter in 14 places where DMK had won in 2016. and in nine constituencies where AIADMK won last time.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">DMK is yet to release the constituencies and seat sharing between allies.
