The ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and CPI have announced their decision to enter into an alliance ahead of the coming Lok Sabha polls. The announcement was made by AIADMK Chief and Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa at a press conference in Chennai today along with CPI leaders A B Bardhan and Sudhakar Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, senior CPI leader Bardhan endorsed the decision.
