The General Council of the ruling AIADMK in its meeting today passed a resolution empowering  the Coordinator of the Party and the Deputy Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam and the Joint Coordinator and the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi Palanisamy, to decide on the alliance and the allocation of seats in the State Assembly election.<br />'' <br />'' One of the 16 resolutions recommended Edappadi Palanisamy as the Chief Ministerial candidate. The resolution also thanked the Central and the State Government on the distribution of free  Covid vaccine .<br />''  <br />
