AIADMK has demanded the government to declare heavy rain and flood in Tamil Nadu as a National Calamity. During zero hour, M Thambidurai of AIADMK said in the Lok Sabha that the flood has caused large scale damage to the properties in the State. He said, declaring the calamity as National Calamity will help provided more assistance to the State in dealing with the situation.
