A delegation of AIADMK today met Election Commission in New Delhi and submitted documents supporting its claim for two-leaves symbol. Today is the last day set by the Commission for all parties concerned to submit documents before the hearing on 6th of next month. <br/><br/>Speaking to media after the meeting, party leader V Maitreyan expressed confidence that they will win the row. Yesterday, the Commission had rejected T T V Dhinakaran faction's request for grant of 15 days additional time to submit affidavit in the case. <br/><br/>Earlier this month, the Madras High Court had directed theCommission to decide before 31st of October the matter relating to AIADMK symbol. Prior to the merger, the two factions led by O Panneerselvam and V K Sasikala had staked claim to the symbol and the poll panel had frozen it.
