AIADMK General Secretary Jayalalithaa has expelled a senior member and former Member of Parliament Malaisamy for alleged violation of party discipline.

In an announcement today, Jayalalitha said his activities had brought dis-repute to the party.

The announcement came after Malaisamy's statement yesterday that Jayalalitha and BJP leader Narendra Modi are good friends and she might go for an alliance with BJP in the interest of Tamilnadu, if Modi becomes Prime Minister.
