In Puducherry, AIADMK candidate, Shri V.Bhaskaran filed his nomination paper for the October 13 Assembly by-election for the Indra Nagar constituency today. The ruling N.R. Congress and the Congress have not announced their candidates so far. The filing of nominations which started day before yesterday, ends on the 26th of this month and the scrutiny would be held the next day. The last date for withdrawal of nominations will be on 29th.The Chief Minister and the N R Congress leader Mr.N.Rangasamy, who won both the Indra Nagar and Kathirkamman constituencies during the April Assembly elections, had resigned the Indra nagar seat neccessitating the by-election.
