AI pilots to be medically examined before flying

Air India on Wednesday said its flight operations will be normal only by night as pilots who reported sick en masse will have to be medically examined before they are declared fit for flying. Airline spokesperson Jitendra Bhargava told reporters in Mumbai that after the pilots called off their strike as they had reported sick so, there are certain formalities that will be carried out. A proper procedure is to be carried out before the pilots are declared fit for flying. Senior executive pilots had gone on mass sick leave to protest against a cut in their wages<br/>
