The agitation by executive pilots of Air India enters fifth day today. Civil Aviation minister Mr Praful Patel has appealed them to resume duty by Wednesday or face action has not given any desired results. The minister said the government is committed to do the turn around of the national carrier and make the Air India’s flag flying high. Mr Patel yesterday assured that no cost cutting measures will be taken without taking their views into considerations. <br/>The agitation is not only making huge loss of revenue to the cash-strapped national carrier but also bringing great inconvenience to the travelling public. On Wednesday 18 flights from Delhi including two international flights are cancelled. The management has stopped the bookings till further notice. Air India management has appealed to other airlines to accommodate its passengers and not to raise fares.<br/>
