Air India management has formed an implementation and anomaly rectification committee to implement the Dharmadhikari Committee's recommendations. It will also look into anomalies,if any, while suggesting ways to implement the report. The Civil Aviation Ministry published the report on its website yesterday.

According to the Public Relations Manager of Air India , the process will be completed within 45 days. If employees have any grievances, they can register them with the implementation and anomaly rectification committee.

The Dharmadhikari panel was set up to lay the roadmap for the vital HR integration of the two airlines Air India and Indian Airlines. The committee, in its report has suggested that in order to remain in the competitive field, Air India will have to be in line with the international aviation industry benchmarks.

About promotional avenues the committee has recommended the constitution of departmental promotion committees (DPCs) to ensure that this is done in a fair and comprehensive manner. Each DPC will have a fair representation from Air India and Indian Airlines and will also include an outside expert.

The pay scale should be as per DPE (department of public enterprises) norms for the executive cadre and as per industry norms for the non-executive cadre which includes pilots, cabin crews and engineers.

The committee has also recommended profit-related pay as per DPE guidelines which will be linked to the profit earned by the company and the achievement of various targets.
