Ahmedabad Test: England 340/5 at stumps on Day 4, lead by 10 runs

In the first Cricket Test against India at Ahmedabad, England have wiped out their first innings deficit and were ahead by 10 runs when play ended on the fourth day on Sunday. Resuming their second innings at the overnight 111 for no loss after following on, the visitors were 340 for Five at stumps. Skipper Alastair Cook on 168 and Matt Prior on 84 were at the crease. The sixth-wicket partnership between the two has so far yielded 141 runs. The scores so far: India – 521 for 8 declared.England – 191 and 340 for 5.The final day's play tomorrow will begin at 9.20 A.M.
