England Captain Alastair Cook led a remarkable fightback at Ahmedabad on Sunday with a heroic unbeaten 168 to help his side wipe out India's mammoth first innings lead of 330. It was also the Skipper's 21st Test century. The unfinished 141-run sixth-wicket partnership between Cook and Matt Prior on the penultimate day of the match, raised hopes of saving the first cricket Test for the visitors. England who were forced to follow on, were 340 for five at close of play. Prior was not out on 84. The visitors now have a slender lead of 10 runs. The scores so far: India – 521 for 8 declared.England – 191 all out and 340 for five.
