Ahead of Shri Amarnathji Yatra, Nitishwar Kumar takes on-spot assessment of facilities

<span style="color: #222222;">In connection with the forthcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra, Principal Secretary to J&K Lieutenant Governor and Chief Executive officer of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board Nitishwar Kumar conducted an extensive tour of Baltal today and took on the spot assessment of the facilities being upgraded for the convenience of the pilgrims.<br />''<br />''The CEO visited Baltal Base Camp, Domail access point, Car Parking area and other proposed sites for halt stations to have a first-hand appraisal of augmentation of pilgrims' staying capacity for ensuring smooth conduct of the Yatra which is scheduled to commence on 30th of June.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, Nitishtwar Kumar was apprised by the concerned departments regarding the activities and developmental works being undertaken to enhance the staying capacity of pilgrims by 2-3 times of existing holding capacity at various halt stations. He directed the concerned for making adequate arrangements for parking of buses ferrying the Yatris well in advance, as heavy footfall of Yatris is expected in Shri Amarnathji Yatra this year.</span><br />
