In Bihar, three sitting MLAs including an independent and one each from the CPI and BSP have joined the Lok Janshakati Party ( LJP). The new entrants were an Independent Vijendra Choudhury, BSP MLA Narayan Sah from Nautan and Ram Vinod Paswan of CPI from Bakhri Assembly constituency. The State Parliamentary Board of the LJP has authorised the party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan to finalise the list of candidates. Paswan said that the NDA came to power because there was a division of votes owing to the LJP’s stand to contest elections alone in 2005. He claimed that this time, the NDA would lose because of the LJP.
