Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh today stressed for white and blue revolutions to strengthen the milk and Fishing sectors in country. Talking to media persons in Panaji, Mr. Singh said government will make all efforts to increase milk and fish production in the country. He said, recently government has launched Rashtra Gokul Mission to promote conservation and development of indigenous breeds of cows and it will helps in dairy development.Mr Singh further said, he will discuss with the western coastal belts states fisheries minister for uniformity ban period on fishing activity during monsoon period and the issue will be resolved before the next monsoon session.The Agriculture Minister announced that a cashew and spices research centre will be established in Goa as it is one of the major states in the production of Cashew and spices.
