Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has said mechanization of agriculture can increase agricultural productivity by 20 per cent.<br/><br/>Addressing a two-day conference on innovations in agricultural mechanization in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said agricultural mechanization featured among various factors important to raise income of farmers. <br/><br/>He said integrated steps including deliberations among farmers, scientists and stakeholders should be taken to increase agricultural productivity and farmers' income. <br/><br/>The Minister also released a book on innovations in agricultural mechanization .
