Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has asked National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, NABARD to make its agriculture loan process more easier. Addressing the valedictory ceremony of the 35th foundation day of the NABARD in New Delhi this evening, Mr Singh said, the bank should also work on to standardize the documents concerned for the sanction of loan. <br/><br/>He added that the bank should ensure that loan applying process might be conducted online. Mr Singh said, to provide bank loan to landless farmers, the Centre has provided financial help of 10 thousand 225 crore rupees to over 10 lakh joint liability groups during the span of last two years. <br/><br/>He said, previous government had provided financial help of 6630 crore rupees only to 6.7 lakh such clusters during the span of 7 years. The MInister said digitalization process related to land records in most of the states has been completed so as to sanction loan expeditiously to the farmers.
