After incessant rain Ratnagiri slowly getting back to normal

After experiencing incessant rain in the last couple of days, Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district is slowly getting back to normal. However, train services on the Konkan Railway Route remain disrupted after the collapse of a retaining wall early this morning. Many inter-state railway passengers travelling to Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala have been inconvenienced with train services being cancelled or diverted. Speaking to reporters about the current situation, Regional General Manager of Konkan Railways, R. Nagdutt has informed that the work to clear the debris is currently on, adding that the service on this line is likely to normalize in the next three – four days. He added that four trains on this route, have being cancelled and some others diverted. He said that bus services have been arranged between the worst affected Ratnagiri and Adhvali section of the Konkan Railway.
