After 20 years, Myanmar goes for pools

Elections have been declared in Myanmar after a gap of 20 years to be held on the 7th of next month. Military Junta is heading the country for the last 50 years. The last democratic election in Myanmar was held in 1990, but the elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi was not allowed to take over. The Military Government has introduced a new rule in the country, in which the Leader Of the Opposition and Nobel peace prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi and other arrested leaders will not be allowed to contest the elections. Critics say the election would not be free and fair.
