<span style="color: #222222;">Afghanistan's acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held talks with Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and discussed the diplomatic ties between the two countries, the situation and problems of Afghan prisoners and refugees in Iran and the Palestine issue. Muttaqi arrived in Tehran to attend a conference convened by Iran in support of Palestine.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Foreign Affairs' deputy spokesperson, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, said that Muttaqi emphasized effective measures to strengthen political, economic, commercial and transit relations between Afghanistan and Iran. Muttaqi also talked about the efforts of the Islamic Emirate to provide the grounds for the return of Afghan refugees from Iran.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The meeting also coincides with the latest development in the city of Mashhad of Iran's Razavi Khorasan province where local authorities banned business activities carried out by mobile Afghan merchants. According to the report, the ban comes as half a million Afghan citizens are currently living in the city. </span><br />
