Afghanistan:Gunmen attack local television station in Kabul

In Afghanistan, gunmen attacked a local television station in the capital Kabul on Tuesday, with reports that people have been killed and injured. <br/><br/>Quoting a Reporter for the channel, who managed to escape, BBC said that the attackers were still inside the building and gunfire is going on. <br/><br/>He said, some of his colleagues were killed and injured. <br/><br/>Police said the number of attackers and people killed and injured remains unclear. <br/><br/>However, spokesman for the chief of Kabul police said one of the attackers had been killed by Afghan forces. <br/><br/>He said, security personnel are trying to regain control of the building. <br/><br/>The interior ministry said it is investigating the incident. More than 100 employees are thought to be inside the building of a Pashto language,Shamshad TV station, when the attack occurred. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, in a Twitter post, denied that the militant group was involved in the attack.
