In Afghanistan, three rockets were fired onto a diplomatic area in Kabul early today. According to Afghan police and witnesses, the rockets struck localities in Police Districts 9 and 10. One rocket reportedly hit a wall at an embassy and two others exploded close to Resolute Support headquarters.<br/><br/>However, there were no reports of any casualties or injuries so far. Today's incident comes after two suicide attacks which took place yesterday in Kabul and Ghor province killing at least 72 people. Afghan officials said, the death toll could rise sharply in yesterday's attacks on a Shi'ite mosque in the capital, Kabul, and on a Sunni mosque in the central Afghan province of Ghor. IS said in a statement today that one of its suicide bombers carried out the attacks.<br/><br/>Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has condemned both attacks saying that country's security forces will step up the fight to eliminate the terrorists who target Afghans of all religions and tribes. The United States has strongly condemned the attacks.<br/><br/>
