In Afghanistan, security forces have killed at least 12 Talibani terrorists in military operations in several provinces in the last 24 hours. <br/><br/>Citing the Afghan Defense Ministry, local media reported that the Afghan forces, backed by artillery, killed eight militants in Tirinkot, capital city of Uruzgan.<br/><br/>Three militants were also killed in the Manogi district of northeastern Kunar province and one in the southern province of Helmand.<br/>
