The Director of the Prison in Afghanistan from which nearly five hundred militants escaped on Sunday, has been detained by the police, along with seven of his senior staff. Among them a police officer who was in charge of security around the prison. The militants escaped from a tunnel dug from outside the jail. About seventy have since been recaptured. The prison chief, Gen. Ghulam Dastgir, is being taken to Kabul for questioning.
