In Afghanistan,militants stormed an intelligence agency training centre in Kabul today , triggering an intense gun battle with police.<br/><br/>Interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish told AFP, referring to the National Directorate of Security, NDS, that around 10 am, a group of armed attackers entered an under-construction building in (the) NDS training centre in Afshar area of Kabul. <br/><br/><br/>Kabul police spokesman Basir Mujahid said at least two attackers have been killed in the gun fighting and two police officers were injured but there were no civilian casualties.<br/> <br/>Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack through its propaganda arm.<br/><br/>The Afghan capital in recent months has become one of the deadliest places in the war-torn country for civilians, as the resurgent Taliban and increasingly IS both step up their attacks on security installations and mosques.<br/>
