Afghanistan has qualified for the World Twenty20 tournament to be held in the West Indies this year and will join winners India and South Africa in Group C. Afghanistan earned the right to take on the leading cricket nations after defeating Ireland in qualifying competition in Dubai by eight wickets. The runner-up Ireland is set to play West Indies and England in Group D. After the win over Ireland, the coach Kabir Khan said that It's a big thing for Afghanistan, for the cricketers and the nation.
